    By repurposing waste heat generated during our manufacturing processes, we effectively heat our building, resulting in a remarkable reduction of approximately 200 tons of carbon emissions each year.

    Additionally, we have implemented energy-efficient low-energy LED lighting throughout our entire facility.

    We successfully recycle 90% of the packaging materials we receive and take pride in ensuring that all our retail packaging is 100% recyclable.

    By avoiding the use of laminated plastics that end up in landfills, we contribute to a cleaner environment and encourage responsible consumer habits.

  • Crust Craft is very proud to have achieved a recycling rate of 96.35% for our cardboard, plastics, organics, and waste materials.

    This is made possible through our comprehensive multi-material program in collaboration with our waste management vendor. By actively participating in this initiative, we ensure that a significant majority of our waste is diverted from landfills and instead recycled or properly disposed of.

    Our shipping boxes are exclusively made from recyclable corrugated cardboard, ensuring that they can be easily recycled after use.

    Additionally, all our shipping is carried out on wooden pallets that are specifically designed to be reused or recycled.

    Whenever feasible, we actively donate nearly expired finished goods to our local Food Bank. This practice ensures that perfectly good products are utilized instead of ending up in landfills. By redirecting these items to those in need, we not only reduce waste but also contribute to addressing food insecurity in our community.

    Crust Craft also supports a sustainable food chain through a pre-consumer food waste recycling program. All of our cooking oil by-product is collected and recycled into viable resources, preventing waste from filling up landfills, clogging sewers, and polluting water ways.
